Assembly of God

The Assemblies of God is committed to fulfilling a four-fold mission. Its primary reason for being is to evangelize the lost, worship God, disciple believers, and show compassion.

Beliefs

The AG created 16 principles as a benchmark to reach, preach, and instruct its followers two years after its formation. These ideas developed into our Statement of Essential Truths. Because of their critical importance in reaching the unbeliever and strengthening the believer and the church both now and in the future, four of these truths are regarded as our central tenets.

Salvation

The foundational belief of our Christian faith is the notion of salvation, which declares that God has triumphed over sin in our lives. Deliverances, healings, and life restorations are the outcomes of this truth. Every Christian, regardless of experience level, ought to have a thorough understanding of salvation and the impact it has on our communities and lives.

Divine Healing

Jesus cured the sick and provided compassionate ministry everywhere He went. After they were healed, many people came to believe that Christ's example had something to do with salvation. It is essential that the church preach, teach, and live out this biblical truth as Our Lord is still healing people today. Scripture exhorts believers to trust God with their prayers and to pray in faith.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

What sets us apart is our belief in the Baptism in the Spirit. This fact clarifies the fervor and impact of our testimony. Jesus assured His disciples that they would be given authority from above so that they could serve as His witnesses. This principle, in our opinion, is still applicable today as our Fellowship works to spread the gospel throughout the world.

Second Coming

The idea of Christ's Second Coming is more pertinent than ever in light of the natural calamities, economic downturns, and growing uncertainty on many fronts that the world is facing. Believers need to share this hope with others and find comfort in the knowledge that our Lord will return soon.
